Micro Wedding

Inviting every man and his dog to your big day is no longer on trend, with legally enforced capacity limits in effect in many places. Because of this we are seeing couples lean into experiences over aesthetics, with more intimate ceremonies, relaxed gatherings, and a focus on a tight-knit group of their nearest and dearest. Couples have been able to make better use of their budget, arrange personal touches and spend more quality time with each and every guest – some excellent reasons to consider it for your own wedding.

Concept Ambience & Mood Lighting

We can all agree that illuminated twinkly lights are an indispensable element of many celebrations. As more immersive outdoor weddings are taking place in 2021, there's no surprise that one of the top wedding trends of the year is mood lighting. This concept brings a romantic aura and airy ambiance to create an unforgettable wedding experience. Set the mood for your guests and tone for the venue with dreamy, unique statement lighting options such as exposed bulbs, classic fairy lights, string light installations and festoons to mix and match with vintage chandeliers.

A Focus on Florals

An upcoming 2021 floral trend is voluminous seasonal, native and wild floral arrangements that are equal parts breathtaking and sentimental. We can see how the abundance of bouquets with lush foliage and gestural floral installations will help in creating memorable moments with a real desire to bring the outside indoors. Couples are now seen to be opting for blooms such as Australian natives, reflexed roses, orchids, delphiniums and anthuriums in colourful, rich, fall-like hues.

Eco Weddings

In these eco-conscious times we live in, now more than ever couples are increasingly putting sustainability as a top priority for their big day. Some of the eco-friendly ways couples can host responsibly are by; choosing sustainable wedding venues with a backdrop that doesn’t require lavish decoration that will end up in a landfill, offering the flowers to good causes, resharing the decor, going plastic-free by swapping out plastic straws for paper ones, using biodegradable confetti, opting for locally sourced and seasonal produce, serving local beers and wines and offering to ‘replant trees’ as a wedding favour as some of the few ways.
