From November 10-20, the Fleurs de Villes is returning to Emporium Melbourne. This floral exhibition will have activities where you can view mannequins, pick up a bouquet or join the various workshops available during this exhibition.

Local florists will be on show with prominent florists attending such as Florals by Pemberley of Malmsbury, Thrive Flowers & Events, Foxy Evergreen, Je Fleur Bespoke Botanicals, Flowers by Nici, Moonflower Artistry, Veridiana and independent designer, Victoria Whitelaw.

Some of the available workshops that you can attend to learn more and practice your floristry skills include:

Creating a Wearable Floral Accessory

In this workshop, Head Botanical Artist Yanru Zhao will lead the workshop and guide you to create a flower crown that can be worn in three different ways. A flower crown will make a great accessory for a Spring you may be choosing to wear for an event this year.

Wreath Making

Emily Liu will be heading this workshop where she will teach you how to make a flower wreath with all flower materials and tools available to use during the workshop.

Flower Arranging Demonstration

Emily Liu will demonstrate how she uses everlasting flowers and naturally dried or preserved botanicals to create her eye-catching floral arrangements. She will educate attendees about the colour theme and trendy features to incorporate into your next floral arrangement.

Creating a Christmas Floral Tablescape

Olivia Coutts is taking a workshop on floral tablescapes that you can use for your table decorations during the festive season. She will teach about sustainable floristry techniques using an assortment of vases and locally grown seasonal flowers to design the tablescape.

Christmas Wreath Making

Sally King is going to teach you how to make a native Christmas wreath for your home. She will be using gum leaves and seasonal natives to create this wreath. The best thing is this wreath can be reused each year even after it's dried.
