Father’s Day falls on the 2nd of September this year and is a time to show our Dads how much we love and respect them, despite their terrible Dad jokes. While Mums are often the go-to parent, we can all admit that our Dads come through when it counts. They are our best friend, our handy man, our advisor, our teacher and our biggest support. In light of Father’s Day let’s take a moment to honour the best Dads in recent history.

He has a caring, understanding side, can teach them a thing or two, is a handy man, and ultimately wants the best for them.

Obama had one of the toughest jobs in the world, but never let it take him away from his wife and kids for too long. Jamie also got some brownie points on our list for his cute flower inspired names for his daughters Poppy Honey Rosie, Daisy Boo Pamela and Petal Blossom Rainbow.

Malcom Turnbull is the current Prime Minister of Australia, and although his kids are adults now, it’s clear to see there was some great parenting behind their success. We’re sure they still lean on their father for advice and a helping hand.

Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg has recently become a father for the second time. It was a tough road for the couple to have a child and he and his wife are beyond thankful for their babies. They are a blessing and it seems that Mark cherishes every moment with them.
