There are many museums and galleries that visitors can traipse through during their holiday in Paris at any time of year but this festive season there are a few special exhibitions that visitors can take in during their Christmas stay in Paris. Between December 15 and December 26 the ‘Splendeurs et misères’ exhibition will come to the Musée d’Orsay, featuring work from Manet, Degas and Picasso. There’s also the ‘Les Actrices’ exhibition on show, which provides an insight into the portrayal of female film stars in early 20th century promotional posters at the Fondation Seydoux-Pathé.
